Mitsubishi Electric FA Overview

The Mitsubishi Electric FA data connector is used to support Mitsubishi Electric devices, as well as establish connectivity with supporting connection protocols.

The following Mitsubishi Electric Devices are currently supported:

• Programmable Controllers—MELSEC
• Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs)—GOT
• Inverter (Variable Frequency Drive)—FREQROL
• Industrial Robots—MELFA
• CC-Link IE Network Interface Board

The connector can be configured in Workbench, providing options such as:

• Automatic search for Mitsubishi Electric devices (Network Discovery)
• Configuration of Mitsubishi Electric device properties
• Configuration of Mitsubishi Electric device tag group properties
